We use an app called Show Me on our iPads. Kiddos can take pictures and write sentences about what they see. We practice using capital letters, spaces, end marks, popcorn words, and stretching out any unknown words. The kids email these to me when they are finished, and we share them.
Well, things are definitely getting busy, busy, busy! I have a lot of things to share with you--so hold on!

Today we got together with our buddies and shared what Writer's Workshop looks like in our classrooms. Our goal was to share our writing with our buddy, and ask each other questions about our stories, to help us revise (change or add to) them. It's fun to see that while many things are different for kindergartners and third graders, some things are the SAME!!!
Math Homework Scoop ~ The math homework paper today mentions using bear counters and connecting cubes. I would not expect that you have these at home, so please just have your kiddo make a marker/crayon pattern. Thanks so much!
