Math +Writer's Workshop+Operation Decoration=Pure Bliss
We are gearing up to start a new unit of "How To" teaching books in Writer's Workshop on Monday. Today we learned how to make paper snowflakes, and I will use this experience to teach from on Monday! Be warned....they are snowflake INSPIRED!!
Also, be sure to ask your kiddo what symmetric means!!
Will made 5 more at home that night! :-) We have brown filters and he said "Yeah brown will work fine too mom..." LOL He had a GREAT time showing us how to fold the filters and instructing us on how to make beautiful snow flakes!!!
